We again are looking to see who wants to partner with us this Fall and Christmas Season To adopt Families in poverty for Christmas this season. Description of Christmas In The City
Christmas In The City by Jesus In The City is an opportunity for churches and businesses to adopt families in the inner city who have not the mean to have a Christmas.
Originally a partnership with Bachman's Floral and Jesus In The City it is now being set up through out the Twin Cities to other churches.
Families are adapted to the fullest extent with gifts for all family members including parents, (many gifts) and a Christmas tree, decorations as well as gift certificates from supermarkets.
We are currently looking for families to be adopted, we need the names and ages of the children so the organizations involved can start purchasing the gifts.
Gifts and other items will be delivered to the families about 2 weeks prior to Christmas. Also the Gospel will be presented to the families who are adopted and they will here about Jesus mission here on earth.
Pray about a family or two that you would like to see receive this blessing.
Held in June - Band of Brothers Men’s retreat camping weekend at Lake Shamineau Bible Camp in Northern Minnesota.
The men of Jesus in the City Fellowship and Central Community Church band together for fellowship, fishing, swimming & time with God.
