In 2000, Jesus in the City held their first “Christmas In The City" celebration. 23 years later, the outreach ministry is going strong. The focus of "Christmas in the City" outreach is to show the love of Jesus and bring the Gospel message to distressed families living in the inner city of Minneapolis.

Through "Christmas in the City," supporting people, churches and businesses have developed relationships that have helped provide Christmas trees, donations of good, and many gifts to the members of each adopted family. "Christmas in the City" continues to bring joy and love to these families during the Christmas season.

Each year we have seen this program grow, and we are blessed to be able to share the love of God and witness the smiles on the faces of these families. Praise Jesus!

Jesus said; "In as much as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." Matthew 25:40

JICF's increased involvement with other churches throughout the inner city of Minneapolis and St. Paul has led to the beginning of "Hands across the City" ministry.

Pastor Michael had vision years ago of "healing of the City." With God's guidance and anointing, this has become a reality. This organization is bringing together many churches of different denominations, as well as many independent churches, for the sole purpose of reaching out to families by extending spiritual and emotional healing through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
